The ideal candidate for the Director of Finance will be able to successfully oversee the company’s Financial initiative, making sure that it aligns with the business objectives of the organization. The Director of Finance must be able to plan, direct and manage all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), statutory guidelines and internal financial policies and procedures.

Job responsibilities include - 

Financial

  • Guide financial decisions by monitoring and enforcing procedures

  • Protect company assets through review and monitoring of internal controls and implement needed changes

  • Manage all tax reporting, an annual collateral audit and prepare all schedules for an external fiscal year-end audit

  • Timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial statements

Management

  • Responsible for management of Accounting Department tasks and personnel

  • Analysis of revenues and costs of various sales programs

  • Find and develop talented personnel

  • Strive to improve management reporting through increased visibility and improved workflow to be used for better decision making

 

Leadership

  • Take the initiative to influence Senior Management to improve efficiencies and accuracy by identifying areas needing change

  • Recommend plan(s) and focus on implementation through collaborative effort with other departments

  • Drive emphasis on evaluating outcomes of change with focus on continued improvement

  • Manage Banking relationships

  • Maintain appropriate relationships with Finance teams of vendors and customers

The ideal candidate for Data Analyst and Application Developer will be able to successfully do the following:  Review, analyze, and evaluate existing reports and information processes and make recommendations on improving accuracy and efficiencies related to these items;  Responsible for developing and maintaining web based applications as well as utilizing Microsoft SQL Server skills (SQL, T-SQL, SSRS, maintenance, etc.);  Research problems, plan solutions, and recommend software systems that aid in achieving the business objectives of the organization; Provide excellent customer service while helping to resolve IT related issues across the organization. 

Job responsibilities include - 

Compile and Format Data Collected from Internal and External Systems

  • Using on-premise and cloud hosted databases, write and execute queries for researching management questions related to sales, operations, accounting, and other functional areas

  • Create and schedule stored procedures to automate Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) operations for moving data between various data stores

  • Use business intelligence platforms to generate informative reports that can be distributed to multiple levels of the company

  • Research data anomalies that lead to issues with operational systems and recommend solutions on how to resolve and prevent these issues

Create, Modify, and Maintain Applications

  • Collect system requirements from end users and build web and desktop applications to help users perform their jobs more efficiently

  • Develop applications that work with industrial equipment and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to aid in automating manual processes in our warehouse

  • Build tools that interface with external data providers to send and receive order, inventory, and invoice data through Electronic Data Interchanges (EDI), Application Programming Interfaces (API), and/or Software Development Kits (SDKs)

 

Use Cloud-based Services to Extend Current Capabilities

  • Research, recommend, and implement the use of cloud-based technologies to enhance our current systems and applications

  • Manage existing infrastructure and services utilized within Amazon Web Services (AWS)

 

Contribute to Overall IT Services and Systems

  • Assist with hardware maintenance and enhancements

  • Monitor systems and applications for performance and availability issues along with designing and creating systems for redundancy and high availability

  • Guide on-site and remote workers throughout the resolution of various IT-related issues

  • Protect company resources through the use of industry standard security mechanisms; investigate and communicate potential security threats in a timely manner

  • Ensure appropriate high availability and disaster recovery measures are in place and functional

 

Job Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Programming and the ability to write efficient stored procedures

  • Introductory knowledge of business intelligence and report writing platforms such as Power BI, SSRS, and Crystal Reports

  • Hands on experience with Microsoft programming languages, especially VB.NET and/or C#.NET

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common objectives

  • This position will be required to be on site to support our staff at our office in Pacific, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis

 

Desirable Attributes

  • Proficiency with VB.NET, C#.NET, Python, or PHP

  • Shell scripting experience using PowerShell or Linux based commands

  • Microsoft server and network administration skills including IIS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365

  • Experience with developing tools to access data remotely via EDI, API, and/or SDK

  • Familiarity with accessing and managing various services in Amazon Web Services (AWS)

We are currently seeking a St. Louis-based recent college graduate that is a self-motivated, highly organized, ambitious team player that enjoys a unique challenge. The focus of the Marketing Assistant will be to assist with business development and create sales materials and ideas for exciting products that will be sold on multiple platforms but primarily on live national TV. The position is project-based, meaning the ideal candidate would be able to manage multiple projects at once, provide accurate and timely communications to our vendor and customer partners, and can produce creative ideas on how to market products to specific consumer demographics.

Job responsibilities include -

Marketing and Administrative Support

  • Create marketing documentation as required by our partners

  • Create digital images and edit videos

  • Manage the product setup process to make items available for sale via multiple mediums

  • Manage the quality assurance process with our customers

  • Provide input and ideas on how to best communicate the features and benefits of a product to consumers

  • Conceptualize, create, and manage props and demonstrations

  • Provide support for new business development
